Some people here, such as epicelite, may know me from the modretro and benheck forums. I am a notorious member of both, but recently have been shying away from benheck because of the war between the two sites. It was at this time that I discovered this site, and was immediately interested. I enjoy the type of videogame modding/ hacking that I do at the other sites, but have always liked working with electronics in general.
Currently, I am 15 years old with plans to go to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to get a masters in computer hardware engineering. My main goal is to work for apple computers, but PC's are good too. The real dream is to eventually start my own computer hardware company out of Silicon Valley, CA. (Lets hope the economy bounces back first. )
I am quite comfortable with soldering as I have been doing it for about 6 years now, and hope to gather some additional electronic knowledge both from this site and a few community college electronics courses that I will be attending during winter of freshman year.
So, here's to the longest greeting ever!
