NTSC/PAL (Television) TFT Display - 4.3" Diagonal doesn't turn ON

I recently purchased a NTSC/PAL (Television) TFT Display - 4.3" Diagonal from adafruit [http://www.adafruit.com/products/946] but it didn't work when i power(12v) it for the first time.
I was so excited to use it as my Pi display but the screen didn't lit up when i plug it into 12v supply.

Please suggest me what should i do ? can i get replacement for this broken screen ? if so what should i do.

I have attached the picture of how i connected the NTSC monitor with Pi. Please do suggest why it did not work.

Did you try connecting the Pi to the White plug instead of the Yellow plug?

Are you certain that your 12V power supply can provide 1A of current?

Yes I tried on both white and yellow plug.
I am using a 12v adapter with 1.5A current
