Hello ppl. I am working on a AUV and am after an accurate GPS module. I was about to finalise the Adafruit Ultimate GPS to be ordered. However, my guide has asked me to enquire about its accuracy. On the website an accuracy of 1.8m has been mentioned. What I would like to know if it is 1 sigma , 3 sigma.... and if it is in terms of CEP.
Furthermore, I would like to enquire if the GPS data can be acquired by directly connecting the module to a PC or an SBC using USB.
Cheers in advance.

Re: Ultimate GPS - Acuuracy (CEP)
The positional accuracy is 50% CEP.
The module communicates through a UART, so you'll need some kind of external translation if you want to use USB.
