This is for 6th graders ARDUINO projects... teaching physics... levers... motion..... and I thought I would be nice to tap a hammer.
What is the strongest servo motor I can buy at adafruit?
Or is there a selonoid better suited for this task of lifting and dropping a hammer?
THANK YOU BILL

This is our strongest servo: http://www.adafruit.com/products/1142
It is rated for 120 oz/in @4.8v. So with a 5v supply you should be able to tap a 12oz trim hammer with the servo shaft mounted about 10" from the head.
