Wiring up a single NeoPixel

I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to actually carry out the wiring necessary to wire up a NeoPixel. It appears that all tutorials are for strips, or matrices. Can anyone help?

Wiring a single pixel is the same as wiring for a strip. Just GND, +5v and the signal wire to DI.
