Extremely bright Led RGB ring light to build

Post by NGerv »

Totally new to this .
I'm looking to build ring lights that I can remotely change the RGB led to enhance the photos of a high speed camera.

Not sure where to begin

Use the above and encorporate http://www.bhoite.com/2014/08/spark-core-neopixel-app/

I've already done this and it works really well. Below is my image.

Issues I found where the 3D printed in the 60 ring where slightly big and needed to add a wire bridge to make the ring slightly bigger, some of the parts in the hot shoe are a little loose and need some extra wedged pieces to hold it in tight and I still need to find something proper to hold the arm to the ring housing.

I also used a 4G portable hub to connect my sparks core and a 5000mAh battery pack to power the core and the pixels. I've made it completely portable.
