So You Left Your Audrino At Someone's House did You?...

Post by phil.drummond »

I was visiting and forgot to collect all my "loot" before leaving.
Is there a support group for Audrino BANNED?

Questions;
1.) What do you carry your stuff around in when you're "on tour"...
2.) How do you store your stuff in your project area...
3.) How do you "field" or make temporarily portable, your Audrino projects...
4.) When you arrive at a "finished" design, do you simply dedicate your Duemilanove board and buy another or design a new board and go the whole route to a completed project...
5.) How do you document and archive your projects, both software/documentation and hardware...
6.) What do you do when someone asks to have the thing you are demonstrating, and you have to tell them they can't afford it :)

1. I carry my stuff in an old SparkFun box. There are a few pics on my Flickr of it.

2. I store my stuff in an ESD bag.
3. I hookup my Lithium Backpack and my ProtoShield.
4. I usually snap many pics, keep it that way for a week or two, then move on to another project.
5. Software is saved to my laptop, and I keep photos of my designs.
6. I tell them, "Are you a friggin' genius? Can you code? Thought not."
