Being the last to catch the boat in most cases, I have just "found" Altoids "Smalls"!
Ok, the candy is um, well... uh --- not so good, but the tiny tin is awesome!
I'm now wracking my brains (tiny as they might be) trying to think-up a project to put inside one of these neat little boxes.
Ideas anyone?
Here's my partial list so far;
- Re-case a photo key chain?
- Put my truck's key fob in there WITH the addition of a USB memory stick?
- Attach a watch band to it and geek-out my friends? (watch? candy? small glass case with a tadpole in it?)
- Do any of the obvious things?... Minty Boost, TV-B-Gone, fusion reactor...
- Survival kit for really small person? (ok, I ran out of ideas)
It's YOUR turn!
Phil

- What is that in the box on the upper left? It's a full-sized soldering iron, with 5 foot power cord and some solder wick and solder!

Grasping for straws I thought:
-if you do not care about having a hole or two, you could fine a very small digital camera and replace the body with the tin (give your pictures that minty fresh feeling)
-umm... universal memory card reader. But then you have slots cut all over the side of the thing.
You're ideas were great and very helpful to the gnomes of the world looking for suitable, fresh smelling survival kit pouches.

How about challenging yourself by cramming the same power output from your mintyboost 2.0 kit into the smalls tin.
You'd make some serious bank then. =)

HAHA!
I just picked up one of these today too! I got peppermint!
Are they new because I never saw them before.
Headphone amp sounds good...
So ummm, more uses...
Pocket-sized wall USB charger
Hold change
Minty boost? (2AA batteries fit in it with some extra room...? redesigned PCB?)
AAA battery minty boost?
Multiple USB flash drives attached to one USB with a switch to select the drive?
PS: I would try to think of more but G2G cus a thunder storm is here.
EDIT:
I don't have a ruler on me but...
This looks doable if the PCB is made in a "L" shape and battery holder is maybe built into it?
maybe a [ shape?
