Not sure this is the correct thread but here it goes anyways.
I received my Adafruit order today and everything was included. However, I noticed that on the back of the graphic LCD there appeared to be a broken capacitor (shown in the attached image). I hooked up the power and contrast control but the LCD did not light up. I'm just wondering if I could get a replacement?

yup that is strange, so contact support for a replacement!
if you could return the LCD we would be able to dissect and debug it which could help identify the problem
