Adding an avatar, how?

I had an avatar and wanted to change it now can't seem to do that, what am I missing?

User Control Panel -> Profile (Top Tab) -> Edit avatar (Left Tab)

Thanks, I got that far but the only option I have is to link to an image with a URL and when I try to link to an image on flickr it tells me the URL is invalid. I guess I'll be incognito for a while until I figure this out.

Make sure that you are linking to the actual image and not a Flickr page. If that doesnt work, you can upload the image to imageshack.us and use the direct link url.
