On http://www.ladyada.net/library/equipt/kits.html, it says "Combination 3rd hand and soldering iron holder" and there is a picture for that. On the other hand, the links point to two separate products, a third hand and a stand.
The product that the image, description and comments correspond to seems to be the Helping Hand
With Magnifier and Stand (Elexp #060838).
Which one is actually part of the kit?

the page you are referring to is just a guide of what you can get for certain amounts of money, we just link to stores and places, it isn't something we sell. we're just being helpfulKudu wrote:On http://www.ladyada.net/library/equipt/kits.html, it says "Combination 3rd hand and soldering iron holder" and there is a picture for that. Re: Confusion in equipment kit
Thanks, but that wasn't quite what I asked for. Clearly this is some kind of mistake, and it should be corrected or clarified.
Additionally, this might be the answer to the issue: "Even though there are fancier ones with soldering-iron holders, we found those would constantly tip over when a soldering iron was in place so we suggest getting one of these and a separate soldering iron holder/stand." (from http://www.adafruit.com/products/291)
Cheers!
