Lady Ada, Phil, and the Adafruit team,
I am the proud owner of one of the new Teensy 3.0s that quickly disappeared from the Adafruit site.
This thing is sweet! Fast, powerful, loads of built-in capability, 13-bit A/D (16-bit if you work hard at it).
And, it uses (a modified) Arduino IDE and libraries. How much better can it get?
One downside - The libraries seem to be a work in progress but are progressing quickly.
Unless you are into hacking software, then here is your chance.
If that is not your thing, just wait a little, it seems to be coming fast.
Another deficiency - Info is scattered and fragmented.
This product is so new that the developer’s web-site is not yet up and running.
If I may suggest, how about making a spot in the Forum Index for the Teensy 3.0.
A search for “Teensy” brings up 35-pages of info that is not Teensy 3.0.
Also, numbers seem to be ignored as search criteria.
A place on the Adafruit forums that brings together the info needed for these ‘leading edge’ products
is a great service and is part of what makes Adafruit Industries a leader in the re-emerging hobby market.
Sorry, it is political season. I had to throw in a little ‘What’s in it for you’.
You already are a valuable resource - providing exciting parts, tutorials, information and customer service.
Having a place for the Teensy 3.0 will just help keep you in the forefront.
Thanks for all you do.
John
