It looks like the only way to get a new Raspberry Pi from Adafruit is to place a $350 order. Is this correct? Can I by the Raspberry Pi by itself or part of a smaller order?
Also, do you have a "store front" allowing walk in customer's to stop by?

As to the rest of your question, I'm not in a position to do anything more than guess. History suggests that the RPi will become a regular part of Adafruit inventory after a breif period. Last time, v1 I think it was a few weeks.
