I received a 912 NTSC/PAl display today ( Invoice 377663) intending to drive it with
an RPi. I applied 12v power, pos to red and neg to black and nothing happened except
the corner of the controller board near the connector gets quite warm. I tried pressing
the buttons but nothing. Using a Fluke 87 I measured the resistance across the red and
black leads and found it to be about 90 ohms both ways indicating a resistive connection
between them. This equates to about .133 amps, considerably more than the 80ma you
indicate the controller should draw at 12v.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: 912 Video Display does not work
Hmm.. sounds like a known-but-rare issue that can occur with that display's voltage converter.
