Hi there,
I received the Arduino Robot [pid 1499] today. It was generously wrapped with bubble wraps and had the seal in-tact. Upon opening the packaging, a SMD chip fell off. I can see the location where the chip is supposed to be. It is located exactly below the motor on the bottom board. I can provide pictures if you need them.
Could you please authorize the return? I had ordered this as a holiday present for my son so would it be possible to reserve a replacement while the stock lasts? I can ship this back as early as tomorrow.
Please let me know!
Thanks,
- ht

We'll certainly get you a new one.
While you still have it though, could you post a photo of the PCB and the chip please? That might give us more information about what happened. Usually it takes patience, skill, and explosives to knock an SMT chip loose.
Please also send a note to [email protected] with a link to this thread, and they'll get a replacement on its way to you.

Hi Mike,
> Usually it takes patience, skill, and explosives to knock an SMT chip loose.
I'd agree with that but I am out of luck on two out of those three, maybe all three!
I've attached 3 pictures taken with my smartphone, however if you would like to see hi-res pictures, please let me know.
