Hello. I recently purchased an INA219 high-side current sensor. I soldered on the included header, and have determined that there is a short between SCL and SDA using a multimeter. Visually inspecting my soldering, I don't think that is the problem. I've attached photos of all my soldering. I would like a replacement part.
Thank you!

Re: RMA request for INA219 current sensor
Your soldering looks fine. But I don't see any evidence of a short on the board either. The layout is pretty simple and the traces are clearly visible from the top of the board.
Were you measuring this in-circuit?
Can you post a photo with better focus on the INA219 chip?

Attached is a better picture of my soldered connections.
I have observed the problem with the board powered up, powered down, powered up with & without the measured voltage going through Vin+ / Vin-.

Re: RMA request for INA219 current sensor
Thanks for the detailed. photo.
These do go through QA on our test-jig as they come off the manufacturing line. Something like a short on the i2c lines should have been caught pretty quick. Since there are no visible shorts in either the factory or your soldering, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a crossed wire somewhere else in the circuit.
What I meant by 'out-of-circuit' was did you measure the short with nothing connected to the board at all?I have observed the problem with the board powered up, powered down, powered up with & without the measured voltage going through Vin+ / Vin-.

Yes, I have observed the problem with nothing connected to the board.

Re: RMA request for INA219 current sensor
I was finally able to check out the replacement sensor. It works fine. Thanks.
