Hi,
I was curious if there were any plans to make a usb adapter to power a breadboard? i tried looking in the store, but didn't see any there.

forgot to mention, it would be nice to be able to pick 3.3V or 5V and also get 500mA

You can get most of that, plus programmable hardware, from a 3.3v Trinket (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1500).
The 3.3v rail can only supply 150mA, but it meets all your other specs.
PCB and fabrication prices being what they are, you'd probably have a hard time finding just a power adapter that costs less than $8.
