Hi, I'm thinking of ordering the above oscilloscope now that it is back in stock. However, I have read some product reviews that indicate that the scope has a very noisy fan that always runs at high speed.
Is this correct, or is this no longer an issue?

Its not *silent* - most low cost oscilloscopes have a fan - if you want a totally silent scope, check out the TDS2014 series and such - $2000 but very quiet! :)

Thank you for responding. The Rigol scope looks, especially for the price, as you indicate.
I also appreciate the benefits it offers and why adafruit chose this product to offer.
However, I think may go with an alternative and similar scope, but a bit quieter and larger screen. However, more expensive.
The Owen SDS series, e.g. the 7102
