Hello,
I recently purchased a couple of your Bluefruit EZ-Link Bluetooth serial link modules to use in an upcoming project. One of them works great and my Android phone sees it right away, every time. The other one only works once in a while. I've checked my solder connections (I put on a 90 deg female header), what else can I do?
Thanks,
Miles Andrews

Can you post clear pictures of both sides of the one that doesn't work so good?

Hmmm...When you say that it works once in a while, what exactly are the symptoms. Does it fail to pair, does it fail to connect, or does it fail to transmit/receive characters?

Re: Flaky Bluefruit EZ-Link
Hi,
Sorry for the vague description; I know better.
The EZ-Link is not discovered by my phone or computer when I scan for new devices. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note2, running Android 4.4.2. The EZ-Link is attached to an Arduino Pro Mini 5V-328. When I go to Settings/Bluetooth on my phone and press the Scan button to find new Bluetooth devices, the red and blue LEDs flash but the EZ-Link does not appear now so I can't pair with it. I can plug in a BlueSmirf Silver Bluetooth modem or the other EZ-Link and they both appear within a second or two. Same scenario with my Windows 7 PC and Bluetooth dongle.
In spite of the flashing LEDs I think it's mostly dead now. Please send me an RMA number now so I can get on with business. Thank you.
