Dear customer service,
I recently purchased a 2.8 TFT raspberry pi screen and it doesn't work. When I plug it in to my raspberry pi it turns white instead of starting up. Please advise

Re: Return
First, let's see if we can figure out why it doesn't work. Please post clear, detailed pictures of the PiTFT, showing your soldering.

Re: Return
I tried to download the sowftware from your tutorial, and the the first time the screen turned black at the point it was suppose to, but did not show the raspberry pi desktop on it when i typed in startx so i thought maybe I was suppose to keep on going and it would show the desk top but when I opened sudo nano/ect/modules typed in the two lines and tried to save it, it said that the directory ect/modules didn't exist, so I decided to whipe out my flash drive and redownload raspian off of noobs so I can try again, but on the second time of trying the screen didn't even turn black it just stayed white the whole time!
Please advise

Re: Return
If the instructions say to solder then you should. Once you've done that test it again. Please advise

Re: Return
The screen should be able to work without soldering. I have the screen strapped in one place so it always turns on, which means soldering should not be a problem. (Plus the screen turned black the first time of typing in the commands to run the screen driver which means it works)
