problem with my new KIT

Post by bobby »

Hi

Got the new POv3 kit and assembled it

when i insert the batteries and turn it on it aint working.. None of the Leds come on or nothing happens..

When i connect it to the PC the the first and the second LEDS blink and then the second stays on for a second or more and then nothing happens.. When ii try to program the LEDS blink and then i get this error

C:\minipovfirmware(2)>make program-minipov
avrdude -p attiny2313 -P com1 -c dasa -U flash:w:minipov.hex

avrdude: AVR device not responding
avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check.

avrdude done. Thank you.

make: *** [program-minipov] Error 1

i have checled the solder and everything seems to be fine.

what steps should i follow to get this working...

If needed i will upload the pics

Also on the side note when i run the program all the Leds seemed o be blinking but i still get the error.. In the conf file changed the dealy to 4000

Also ran make burn-fuse just to nmake sure if it works or not

Thanks,
Bob

if it doesnt work at all, as in the LEDs dont come on, then something else is wrong. you should get the LEDs working -first- and THEN try programming it
