I have an idea to make a virtual banner with the POV mounted on a thin flexible pole that is waving back and forth within a single plane (not the kind that goes in the air!). This needs the message to switch on when the pole reaches its limit to the left or right. I assume this can be done with the 'sensor' pad on the PCB? Is it possible to change the direction of the text/image when the switch is triggered?
What kind of switches might be useful for this? I was thinking a mercury switch, or a little one at the base of the pole with a wire connecting it to the unit at the top.
Finally, what sort of LEDs are supplied with the kit? (brightness would be useful to know). Is it possible to mount LEDS on both sides of the board?
