You can see where the PCB needs to slide forward but the quick connector sticks up where it contacts the I/O Board. The same goes with the J3 connector and its 12 wires. I cut off the connector and replaced the ends with standard female pin connectors and covered them with some heat shrink.

Just guessing from the knob layout, It looks like he added another main board, or a at least the analog portion of a main board (with the digital side cut away perhaps?) to the x0x. Two VCOs, VCFs, EGs and VCAs could make for one very interesting little monosynth, especially if wired to allow two different waveforms to be used at once.

Hmm, just thinking of the possibilities of such a beast has me wanting to build one like that, even if that's not what the guy did!

Amanita - that looks stunning. Ive been messing around for a week or more trying to work out what colours to use with my aluminium case  Ive got a set of blues, plus also red, yellow amber and green diffused to play with. Think itll be worth it tho, yours looks awesome. :)

Holy banned! That case! It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! Are these gonna be available in the future because I need one for my future x0xb0x? Substyler, you're the guy running http://www.x0xsh0p.de, right? If these will come available again I'll definitely order the whole set from you. The purple and green LEDs on rvanscotter's b0x look fantastic also. I need to get myself a b0x like that.

I will drop you an email about a full kit with this case as soon as I'll have enough money, which is hopefully during the summer. :)
