#164 is all done too.

It was my first time assembling a kit of any kind (zero soldering experience), and it was lots of fun. Now I need something else to do. We need an 808b0x or something!

Sometime in the future I'll update this post with a pic of my 'b0x which is working like a dream and incarnating the pagan gods of acid on a nightly basis. 808b0x is in the works. I'd say that this summer is a realistic goal, mind you that this won't be a kit like the x0x, but a BOM along with schematics, layouts and assembly instructions. I'm working on getting a large stock of the hard to find stuff. Details to come, stay tuned.

#119 done. First project I've ever done. Very fun indeed. I'm hooked. If I get bored this winter I was thinking about making a wood case for it.

what else can i say

other than i used headers on the wires running between the boards and the sockets aren't very tight--so mine is staying at home for the time being.

also, my slide key got pushed in too far ... it still works, it's just sitting lower than the rest of the keys. i'm planning on leaving it alone until i fix the wire headers, unless you think it will cause some long term damnage?! anyone else experience similar?

Your slide key is correct, its the other buttons that are not fully seated.
I did the same on inital assembly. :)
