A733
P381
.....is the type of 733A transistor I just dug up locally, Seems to be in the high AP range from what I have heard but I'm not sure. Betas are at about 350-365 average with a small amount going higher on up to just over 400 HFE. Anyone have a clue as to what these are? No manufacturer is labeled on them and google only yields one page with a matching pic of the same one however it's all in another language.
Can anyone name this transistor A733 P381

Re: Can anyone name this transistor A733 P381
Transistors with an "Annn" marking are frequently Japanese (?) 2SAnnn types (ditto Bnnn, Cnnn, Dnnn)
A 2SA733 is a TO92 PNP high-beta (200 typ, 600 max) 50V 100mA transistor aimed at audio, apparently.
(datasheets for 2SA733 are readily available...)
(The P381 is probably a manufacturing date code)
