VCA White noise

by danny29 on Wed Aug 22, 2012 9:50 am

Hi all, I've just finished building my xoxbox! Everything works fine but I noticed a white noise each time a note is played, the noise is not filtered when sweeping the cutoff pot so I gues the problem is in the gate circuit or in the vca...

here some audio examples: ... xoxbox.mp3

Does anybody know how can eliminate or at least reduce, this noise?

Thank you indeed!

i don't hear it, so it's around the normal levels
analog synths always have some noise, that's how it is

i think you shouldn't worry about this
maybe there are ways to try and reduce it, but is it worth it?
We are here too: >>> #x0xb0x

I just hear a normal amount of analog breath. if you are hearing a sh sound like white noise check your speakers. :)
