I checked again

pretty much the same, I think it may have hit 0.066, then drifts down to 0.02

you mentioned the decay knob so I turned it while measuring and saw 0.2v while turning

OK. Perhaps your multimeter is reacting a bit slow.

Let's try another approach.

Please measure the voltage (against ground) on the middle pin of Q37, both when playing a note and without.

There's a problem somewhere here.

Please check both side of R146 against ground (again, both playing a note and not playing a note).

I'll probably answer tomorrow; it's way past midnight over here.

south side of r146: 0.02 trigger off, 4.87 trigger on
north side of r146: 2.31 trigger off, 2.67 trigger on

I really appreciate your time,
Best

Please remove Q37 and measure the voltage from the middle solder pad to ground.

Please use another 2SC536 for Q37. If you don't have a spare one you could temporarily use Q50 from the IO board (you'll not have any MIDI in functionality without Q50, though).

awesome, thanks chief.
That did the trick,
I had several 2SC536 to spare.
Tested all controls, played notes, sequences, etc...

let me know if I can return a favor, neil@ebbflo.com

best,
neil
