I've ran into a little problem with my build. I've checked the forums but can't seem to find anything about this.
I've just started building the power supply, but don't have the right voltages.
When I measure on C3 and C5 I get about 2.2VAC where I should get 26VAC, when I measure this in DC, I have nothing.
I'm using a 9VAC 1000mA adapter, do you have any idea where this could go wrong?
The diodes are soldered in correctly, so is all the rest.
It's a xoxshop kit by the way.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Power supply build issue
Just a quick question: Have you installed a switch or a jumper where the switch would go?

Re: Power supply build issue
Yes! I've found the solution today! Indeed I did not install a jumper or switch, so after a long time of searching what the problem was I noticed the two contact points next to the power socket
Yes, I am a dumbass, but this was not documented in the manual since it's the pcb xoxshop designed themselves.
So now I just bridged the two contacts and everything works!
Thanks for the help anyway MMM!!!

Re: Power supply build issue
hi,
did you get a CD ROM with your kit?
on that CD ROM should be a guidance for the PCBs which explains that the I/O PCBs have two extra solder pads for switch integration.
