Re: Old x0x never been tuned
Happy to see your x0x working now properly. I have been trying to understand that fix, but after staring at the schematics I could not make any sense of it. R16 originally calls for 100 Ohm, R15 on the other hand should actually read 220 Ohm. I take it, it was R15 and not R16?isak wrote:i got it fixed with the help of an very old friend, known as GUEST

Re: Old x0x never been tuned (solved)
Thanks
Its R16.
By the building manual its 150ohm, I've never seen its 100ohm.
Any way he told me to replace it to 220ohm.
I'll check the the old R16 and let you know the original value.

Re: Old x0x never been tuned (solved)
He said to me to replace R16, and then I asked if he thinks that R16 is faulty.
this was his answer...
Hope it helpes you.

So replace R16 to 220ohm did the job.its not so much that its faulty, but its not well matched to ic24 and q50. if the 220ohm doesnt work, then try 1k
Hope it helpes you.
