With my newly built x0xb0x I have a problem. Using official firmware v1.05, I'm unable to save patterns. I don't know if I do it the right way, as I haven't used a x0xb0x nor a TB303 before, but this is how I do it:
1) starting the machine in PATTERN EDIT mode
2) turning pattern group to bank 2
3) clicking 1
Now all leds are black except for group 2 and pattern 1, plus TEMPO flasing
4) clicking NEXT and enter a note
5) repeat from 4) 16 times
Now these are the active leds: NEXT, the last note clicked (C' in my case), bank 16, TEMPO (flashing) and DONE (flasing).
6) clicking DONE
Active leds: bank 2 and pattern 1. Clicking play plays the song. Should it be saved now?
7) chaning bank to 1
8) changing back to bank 2
9) clicking play and you know what... There's nothing here! :'(
x0xb0x doesn't save patterns

Re: x0xb0x doesn't save patterns
Starting to believe it is a hardware issue. Which components are involved in bank saving? I've built the b0x myself so I guess I'm responsible for any mess caused.

Re: x0xb0x doesn't save patterns
I've now measured the eeprom and it really looks like it doesn't work as supposed. There is data coming in to the chip when saving, and there is data coming out from the chip when reading. Though, what comes out from the chip is just empty data although I have saved patten data. The eeprom chip must do bad.
