Hi there,
I'm experiencing some problems with my Xoxbox power supply. I'm only getting 3V instead of 5.33V. The strange part is that I was getting 5.33V when I finished the power supply, but after getting some strange readings on the VCO, I tested it again and somehow it dropped to 3V. Willzyx is always prepared to offer help, but I can't seem to reach him atm.
I've already read different posts about this subject, but I can't figure out what could be the faulty component. Of course I did some measurements for you guys..:
D44 - D45 = 0.5
D45 - R5 = 1.01
R5 - TM6 = 1.24
TM6 - R4 = 1.46 (ranging from 1.44 tot 1.49)
R4 - D46 = 2.03
D46 - D47 = 2.54
D47 - R3 = 3.04
R3 - R2 = 24.2
R2 - R1 = 27.3
Trimpod = 1.26/ 1.36/ 1.46
LM336 = 0/ 3.04/ 1.37
6562:
0/3
3/3
3/3
6.67/27.2
Hope someone can help me!
Greets,
Ben

The voltage drops along the diodes look ok to me. So my guess would be IC22 or IC23.

Hmmm ok. Thanks. And is there a way of knowing which one, without desoldering them? Especially IC23 is a pain to get out..

I'd try IC22 first.

Hi,
Sorry for my late reaction. Haven´t been able to work on it for a few weeks. I replaced IC22 and the power supply is working fine now! Finished the rest up and put everything together. Now it looks good, but it doesn´t sound right . But I will open a new thread for that.
Many thanks,
Ben
