Resonance all way down?

I just realised my lack of bass bottom when doing a/b with my 303 is that when i have res all way down, there still is some res on the filter. (a little, but it BANNED up that boomy no res sound i love) so, anyone else have this or do i have to check solders and leaks. i used solder that you dont have to clean so no bridges fron the fluss, but you never know about solder bridges.

just wanted to hear if you other guys get that bass boom and no res when closing res totally. (and if so, where is a good place to start in the vcf circuit?) or maybe the res pot. arg too many possibilitys!

(when i a/b, full cutoff on both and no res on x0x, i have to have res on one o clock on 303 for it to sound exact the same. i really think i have something BANNED up :p)

Adjust the trimmer in the VCF and do the lower cutoff mod for boomy happiness!

well, lower cutoff wont make the res go away and the VCF pot is at almost max or else it wont sound similar as 303 with max res on. i want a clone, not a mod.

You can possibly extend the range by fiddling with R73
