I wont be building this one (#115) for a while, as i am spending my x0x time building a custom case for it. :D

CNC machine Alunium :D

My first one (#015) sounds awesome.

ba6110 arrived; installed. left x0x wall wart @work, can't test. Durn!!
Thanks for the speedy shipping and pro packaging, too. :)

Meanwhile, CV control of x0x params sounds awesome! My two favorite discoveries: audio-rate modulation of filter cutoff, and what happens to the envelope when you run a variable 0-to-5V CV into the envelope gate input while the sequencer is running.

That's funny that you got number 15 and number 115, what luck! now you just need 215!

Anyone else still waiting for their 6110?
It would be my luck to be accidentally skipped.
Was there supposed to be a tracking number, or an email saying confirmed/shipped? I haven't recieved either one.

Seems lots of people have gotten them the last 2 days, I'm near a major city so i'd thought delivery would have been fast.
Were these sent via USPS, UPS, or FedEx? Wondering weather to watch my mail or my doorstep.

Hopefully I'm just being paranoid. That would figure. ;)

 UPDATE: ok, just got the "it shipped" email today. wheee. I'll be mailing the broken chip back to you, thanks.

6110 arrived yesterday, plugged it in and it works! I can now hear sound out the headphone jack.
Was fun turning knobs and pressing buttons.

Will get the case part assembled after I wire in the custom LEDs I ordered, which also just arrived yesterday.

Re: BA6110 "420 178" bad batch

Hello,

i soldered a BA6110 into my x0xb0x, i have no sound at output and following values..

..when no button is pressed:

pin1 5.33v
pin2 5.33v
pin3 0v
pin4 0v
pin5 0v
pin6 5.32v
pin7 5.31v
pin8 11.78v
pin9 11.8v

..when a button is pressed:

pin1 5.33v
pin2 5.33v
pin3 0v
pin4 11.8v
pin5 0v
pin6 5.32v
pin7 5.31v
pin8 11.78v
pin9 11.8v

The voltagechange on pin4 i can definitly see.

Because i have a second BA6110 here (but not a third), i have following questions:

Does it look like if the BA6110 is bad?
What can i test before i solder the other BA6110 onto The PCB to prevent him from damage?

Greetz Chris

Edit: Solved! It was a bad BA6110.
