are we supposed to trim the white switch pots to the same length as the others?
The manual didn't show them or mention them in the prep guide so I didn't trim them like the others... but they do seem a little longer. I haven't put the whole thing in it's case yet as I'm waiting for the 6110 chip, but it seemed to be a little long.
switch pots and trimming to size.

Note though that these knobs are not the same height as the others.
But yes, untreated, the knobs will stick out above the front panel. The tops of the knobs are however at the same height above the panel as the other ones. So it's up to you really. Note though that there is a square bit on these shafts where the screw in the knob goes. If you cut the top bit off, the screw might actually sit on the round bit and you won't be able to use it as it will just slide round instead of move the switch.
