This is the mod ii would like most on my xoxbox...
I will try to find a way..but in case its done allready i wouldnt mind if someone could supply a link..
thanks and regards,

Re: Devilfish independent acc/norm decays...
it's in the wiki...
http://www.ladyada.net/wiki/x0x/envelopemods
if you have trouble understanding exactly where the connections go just ask and someone will help you out.
[On another note the devilfish accent decay and as shown in wiki is not truly independant from normal decay but rather it's in parallel with the normal decay pot so accent decay can never be longer the the setting for normal decay. In use though with the internal sequencer and typical basslines it's not a handicap it works rather well]

Re: Devilfish independent acc/norm decays...
thanks for the link..
bt it seems not to be the original devilfish mod..or?
on the devilfish you have independent acc and non acc decay... ..and you can put booth to zero so that the machine gets silent...exept some clicks...
what is for me the most performant feature on the devilfih...
Too bad that i was too lazy to look a bit deeper into the devilfish when i had the chance...

Re: Devilfish independent acc/norm decays...
I'll see if I can upload a schematic.
It is not truly independent on the devilfish. They can both go to minimum but the accent decay can never be greater than than the setting of the normal decay pot. The accent decay pot is wired in parallel with the normal decay pot so when there is an accent the circuit to the accent decay pot is activated and the decay time is the parallel combination of the setting of the normal decay pot and the setting of the accent decay pot.

Re: Devilfish independent acc/norm decays...
So there are some active parts involved? would be nice if you could upload a chematic..
But for the moment i ve to live without that feature...
thanks

Re: Devilfish independent acc/norm decays...
no nothing active. It's very simple. It's really a must have mod.
1) cut the trace between pin 4 of IC12 and D28/VR6 (cut the trace right at pin 4 of IC12 before it joins to D28)
2) connect pin 1 of a 1MA pot to pin 4 of IC12
3) connect pins 2/3 of the 1MA pot to D28/VR6
That's it.
