please if any one have the schema or the contact of the person i will be more then grateful.

Re: OverDrive
Hello, I too was wondering about this.
Can anyone post anymore information on this Distox distortion? Did the OP ever get in touch with him?
Alternatively, what is a good distortion unit for a x0x? I heard a lot of people say that Big Muff's were wimpy - I was always under the assumption that they were quite grand, having never heard one myself however.
Ever try finding a demo of a 303/x0x through a Big Muff? They simply don't exist!

Re: OverDrive
hi pirahna1
few answers
about the Distox distortion i talked to the guy that made that, he didnt want to give the schematics a way coz he worked very hard and made lots of tests untill he got what he wanted. he is planing to sell it as a pedal in the future.
about the distortions and overdrives.
i can BANNED few :
1 : MXR M-104.
2 : Vox Bulldog Distortion.
3 : if u want a lot of effects in one gear u can buy the Line6 Pod XT, i have it and i loooooove it very much, the pod have lots of distortions & overdrives, reverbs phasers.. and so and so..
but if u want only a distortion buy the MXR M-104 this is the best that i have heard on the TB-303 or x0xb0x.
goog luck man

Re: OverDrive
I would say the best distortion on a x0x of tb303 is a acidscreamer TS303. This distortion allows to keep the accents instead of making it one big puddle of distortion..
Google the name of the device and you will find a site where they sell it..

Re: OverDrive
the acidscreamer TS303 for my opinion is very thin very slim.
you can hear the difference between the MXR M-104 and the acidscreamer TS303 here :
http://www.acidvoice.com/tb_303_best_di ... _pedal.htm
try to record both of the samples and analize them.
after u'll do that i guess u'll find what u'r looking for.
i hope i dont offend the acidscreamer TS303 users, this is my personal opinion.
peace, Isak.

Re: OverDrive
I dont think its a very good demo of the acidscreamer on that site. It sounds diffrent here..
Ofcourse it personal, the MRX i find to be to much screamy.. there is a unpleasant top for my ears in there.. Accents get lost very easily..
But then again.. , thats my opinion

Re: OverDrive
I didnt say anything about the pod XT
For good verbs/delays and more i use a ensoniq DP2, for distortion the acid screamr ts 303 that combo is better than any other effects in the price range. Especially the dp2 is worth every penny. Lots of bang for buck

I'm really glad with my TS-303 I can advise everybody to get one if they're available. To me it's worth every centisak wrote:the acidscreamer TS303 for my opinion is very thin very slim.

Re: OverDrive
I have an old MXR distortion +. It's beautiful. For my Juno, It's kind of messy but for the x0x it seems to retain the low end better than my Cortez overdrive (great for screamy high end though). The MXR is a very basic circuit based around the 741 op amp and two germanium diodes. They sell kits to make'em for like $15. ToneLabs? I saw it the other night. Very easy and very tweakable. There's about a million mods you can do to it as well. Google it.
