ok i did the gate mod and its perfect :)

i did it instead the VCF CV in coz i want the CV and the gate to be next to each other, i used the mix in jack on the i/o board to be the VCF CV in coz i dont have the need for an input.
i cut the trace that goes from the tip of the jack to pin3 on J7, now when the cv's and gates in's/outs is working the VCF is closed/dark, it wont open up as usual, i was guessing it was from the VCF cv in mod and i was right, as i unplugged the wire from the tip of the jack the filter was the same as original.
can i solve this somehow?
inside the x0x the signal goes as follows
vco -> vcf -> vca -> mixer and headphone amp
you need to give each one of these a control signal
right now you have a vco and vcf control signal
so if you want hear the sound
you will need a vca control signal
or take the sound from after the vco or vcf
guest all i wanted is to be able to use the VCO in a modular synth, thats it.
i want to built MFOS's Filter, ADSR, VCA, Ring mod, S&H, Noise and so..and i wanted to use the VCO of the x0x instead of assemble one or two, i already order a second VCO to the x0x so i will have 2 VCO's to my future modular synth.
