Muffle won't work

Post by Mylo »

I ve tries severel led's and diodes
My connexion is to the center of a switch with c38 minus ... Then i can switch betqeen two parts of diodes and go back to ground of vr 8 and nothing happens
When i connect to c38 plus the led lights up and the sound cuts off its with all types of diodes and led's the same whyso ever anbody can help me .......
By the way ive done severel mods on my xox and all of them worked without any problems .... Why this one should not
I dont know
Or is there any other possibility to make this mod i really want to have a muffler "like" distortion .........

how is the volume out of the x0x
is it normal sounding

do you have a diode facing each direction

turn the cutoff full up
and the resonance full down
and see if you hear a difference

ive never used this mod before
so i dont know how much of an effect it should have

When i use c38 - there s nothing with the sound when i use the + the whole sound cuts down there is no more output nothing
And jep i have a diode facing each direction still nothing with the sound ......
Maybe if theres anybody made this mod could load up some pictures of the wiring
Or i need to cut maybe a trace or something to have a alltime muffler on? Dont know....
Or maybe anybody could upload soundsamples with the muffler .......

the type of diode makes a pretty dramatic effect, I got the best results with germanium parts (1N60 etc)
