MIDI desync and output failure

Post by trocol »

Hi there,

I have just finish my second x0x and I got a pair of problems

first the MIDI sync looks like does not works, once I start sending MIDI clock from BANNED 4 and even hardware like MC808, in a few seconds starts desync with the sequencer. Why is this?

second, the main output does not gives me any sound or noise or anything, I got the sound directly from speakers, any idea about this too?

The x0x is a MODEMACHINES and the OS is SOKKOS 1.9.1

thanks

No wayyy, the x0x only desyncs by hardware seq. Using BANNED works fine after a long time testing, so must be the hardware (MC808) the one that does not send the right MDI sync.

Well it looks like has been fixed and the main reason is that the MC808 sends a lot on MIDI data to the x0x and that make it lack the tempo.

I tried with a drum machine sending just the MIDI clock and now runs smooth at the same tempo with no desync.
