hi all.
i'm about to take the plunge and get stuck into building a xox. i recently built a shruti synth with a ponoko cut bamboo faceplate and enclosed it in a pactec pt-8 case. it came out pretty well.

i think i'd like to do something similar for my xox. does anyone have xox panel files other than the dxf files on adafruit? ideally, inkscape files or similar for ponoko cutting - generic panel files in swf or a similar format?
custom front panel - bamboo???

Re: custom front panel - bamboo???
Sorry, can't help with the files, but.............
OMG, I love the wood front panel and burnt-in graphics and text
I thought at first that the buttons were also wood, but then checked out the rest of your flickr set.
Ever thought of making some hardwood buttons? Or even widdling some custom wood knobs?
Fantastic work there oootini.
Cheers

wooden knobs? not so sure, but it could be a goer, no doubt! i considered using the cut out button holes as button caps but it would have been too fiddly. maybe this time, for the xox...
