Has anybody separated the dual Resonance pot and wired it up as two separate pots?
worth it? stupid idea?

Re: 2 Res pots?
i wouldn't do that
the Res pot is dual because it does two things:
1) controls the feedback in the filter (resonance control)
2) smoothens up the Accent signal which modulates the cutoff on accented notes
you can acheive a similar effect if you use the resonance mod (replace R97 with a 10K pot)
when the resonance knob is at maximum - the Accent signal is smoothened, while at low resonance - it's "sharper"
so, boost the R97 pot, and reduce the resonance knob and you get normal resonance but with fast accented cutoff modulation (which isn't so spectacular)
that's if i'm not forgetting something

Re: 2 Res pots?
Thanks for your advice
I will try it anyway, just out of curiousity, its easy to revert. Wondered if it had been done before.
