x0xb0x vs LFO

by isak on Sun Jul 08, 2012 3:57 pm

Hello guys :)

wanted to post this for a long time now but i've been very busy at work.
any way better now then never ;)

this is a cool mod i added to the x0xb0x, i connect it to the cv in and the vcf cv in.
this is the schematic i used :

as youll see its working great and i'm more then happy with it.
i did a small change in the schematic in the LFO, as you see in the original schematics to pass from square to tri they use a 10k pot, i replaced it with a switch and 1k resistor, that worked better for my taste.

enjoy the Vid clip

I really would like to do this modification!

In the schematics for what is D and E (D1, D1, E1, E2)? The circuit is only going to A, B and C

Thanks!

hi q-ba.

D and E is for the device that was originally what this LFO is connected to.
you dont need them at all.
whats matters is...
A = 12V
B = GND
C = output

thats it :)

enjoy the mod ;)

I'll have a look on the vcf-in mod so
Thanks again!

Hi, i built the lfo, but i find no where to connect its output. I think it's somewhere in the area of the cutoff, but i don't know where exactly ... :(
