Hello everybody
I'm new at xox.. Nice board!
After building my xox, i have a question. This http://www.ladyada.net/wiki/x0x/vcfmods explains to use a 5kohm trimpot with one 4,7kohm resistor. Do i have to let the 10kohm mounted on board or remove the resistor wich is already mounted and bring to cables to hole1 and hole2 of the xox? R97 and thats all?
Best
Sorry, sometimes i did not see clear after mounting 500 things..
PIN one of the trimpot goes where with wich resistor? And the second? Sorry i'm not an electronica guy..

Re: ResoBoost
R97 is supposed to be a 10k resistor
for the reso boost mod - you have to remove it from its place, and put a ~5k resistor and ~5k pot (the two in series)
so at the end, you will be able to adjust the value for R97 from ~5k to ~10k
the lowe the resistance - the more feedback
somewhere around under 9k the filter will whistle like crazy ;]

Re: ResoBoost
Or you can just add a 10k pot in parallel with it and switch to toggle on/off resboost
