I have been looking at ways to make a sub oscilaotr or octave doubler (frequency multiplier x 2)
Here is a link to a simple doubler using small transformers and dodes:

Since space is limited I am looking for a smaller solution like this one that uses a specific op amp and XOR gate:

For a sub oscilator: (from Jonnay's wiki)

I am not sure how easy this chip is to find but the circuit is simple enough.
I need to play around with these and see how x0x oscillaotr voltages work with these circuits etc.
any other ideas?
