Resistor confusion

Post by Jaywar »

Hello! So, I'm working on my MIDIsense, and everything seems to be going well, but there's one thing I can't figure out. I've gone over the instructions many times (maybe I'm just missing something) but I can't seem to find out what value resistors go in spots R6 and R7. I can see them in the photos, but the whole color/monitor calibration thing is throwing me off. I tried powering it up without those, but the MIDI activity LED just flashes red once when I turn on the power (but no green light). Thanks!

clarification..

what I meant by monitor/calibration is that I can see the resistors in the photos, but due to computer monitors being all slightly different, it's impossible to tell what the values of those resistors are with the photos. Thanks!

R6 is 220 ohm
R3 and R7 are 1.5k

this is a typo in the silkscreen, of course: R6 and R7 should be 1.5K and R3 is 220 but the boards i sent out have the mistake so go with what i say above.
