Program PIC

Postby daaf1984 » Wed Mar 03, 2010 3:49 pm

Hello,

Is it possible to program the pic by using the midi cable?

Or do I have really to 'burn' the pic? (don't have any experience with it...)

Greets,
Dave

Atmega8
PIC is a rude word!
:D

Yes you need to burn the UC first .
The board has a ISP socket. I would say you need a interface though. I'm a fan of the SIprog ( pony prog ) its an easy build and the software is straight forward, probably the easiest out there , please correct me if you know of an easier one :)

Are you building a midisense form scratch?
