How hard would it be to hack the board for output?

I'd like to trigger an external device via midi signal. It's a DC motor, so I guess I'd use a relay (it's on-off, so I don't need anything like an hbridge...) or some sort of transistor switch.

Would it be hard to take over one of those ports for this purpose? I'd like to retain input capability too (maybe for that theremin;-)

the current PCB is really input only (there are opamps in the way)
