MIDISENSE

Post by TSIOUTAS1 »

HI, I PURCHASED MIDISENSE AND STARTED USING IT. BY ACCIDENT I PLUGGED 4 VOLTS DC IN THE SENSOR#2. SINCE THEN SENSOR#2 DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK. IN THE CONTROL PANEL IT SHOWS LIKE PERMANENT HIGH. (127 OR 6500). ALL THE OTHER INPUTS SEEM TO BE OK. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

CAN I RUN THE MIDISENSE CONTROL PANEL AT THE SAME TIME I'M RUNING MAXMSP? I 'M FACING PROBLEMS WITH THAT

yup it could be that it damaged. good thing you've got 5 other sensors :)

you cant really have 2 programs on the MIDI system at once. so use the control panel to set it up and then use maxmsp to program it. theres no real way around it, thats how windows is!

you could follow the trace to the chip or look at the schematic. i would probably suggest not trying to fix it as you could damage the PCB by trying to unsolder the opamps
