Accelerometer

Post by Honus »

Would it be possible to use an acccelerometer such as this as an input sensor?

Thanks!

Seriously? AWESOME!! You have just made my day. :D

So will this new PCB still be able to connect to bend sensors as well?

Thanks for answering all my questions!

not really, bend sensors are best used with the resistive sensor board. they are fundamentally different kinds of sensors...

That's what I figured. But I could still connect the boards together on the same chain and just assign them different channels right?

you could get something like a MIDIsport 2 or something else with 2 midi i/o ports, yes.

Hmmm... let me rephrase that. What I want to do is have one 16 channel MIDI servo controller board (that has MIDI in/out ports)connected to both types of MIDIsense boards. I need to be able to use both an accelerometer and bend sensor at the same time connected to the servo board. Each type of sensor would drive a seperate servo. Make sense?

Sorry for asking so many questions! I just want to make sure what I want to do is possible for a project I have lined up.

Thanks!
