So when I finished I tested it (with an old ipod that holds a charge for about a minute) and it worked, plugged into ipod video, worked, got case ready went for 1 more test.... didn't work... what happened, I soldered it a little more on each piece. Still NOTHING! Please HELP!

so it worked before you put it in the case but not after? does it work when you remove it from the case? do you have a multimeter to test the voltages?

It doesn't work in or out, what setting should the multimeter be on (I'm not good with them).

DC Voltage, 20V if it has multiple ranges.

has a video on how to use multimeters.

however, theres a pretty good chance that when putting it into the case you shorted out some pins on the tin (they were not cut short enough, or the foam tape wasnt attached well, and fried the MAX756 chip.
